They are named in such a way that the flat which is there on the extreme left is known by the number of the floor followed by 'L'. Similarly, the flat on the extreme right is known by the number of the floor followed by 'R', and the flat which is exactly middle in each of the floors is known by the number of floor followed by 'M'. For example, the flat on the second floor on the extreme left is known as'2L'. In the same way, the flat on the second floor on the extreme right is called as '2R', and the flat in the middle on second floor is known by '2M'. Building is constructed in such a way that each flat is exactly one above the other. There are ten persons, A to J, each one occupying a flat but not necessarily in the same order. There are five vacant flats in the apartment. There is one vacant flat in each of the floors. There is one flat between the flats of I and A in a floor. B's flat is on the immediate left of J's flat which is just below A's flat. Flat '3L' is not occupied. G's flat is on the left side of F's flat in a floor, but it is not on the top floor. The flats of C and D are in the same floor, but not adjacent to each other. C's flat is not on fifth floor. A's flat is not on 4th floor. E occupies the flat '1R '. The flat just above the D's flat is not a vacant flat. H's flat is a corner flat
